To drive Topolino, most people will need a full UK car driving licence (category ‘B’). A provisional licence isn’t enough. However, because Topolino is officially classed as a quadricycle, you can also drive it if you hold a UK motorbike licence—either a category ‘AM’ licence for mopeds and scooters, or a category ‘A’ full motorbike licence.

Although Topolino comes equipped with a European two-pin plug, charging in the UK is done using a Type 2 wall box adaptor. Each Topolino includes both the standard European plug and a Type 2 adaptor, allowing it to be charged at any UK public charging point that does not use a tethered cable. Please note that a home wall box unit and its installation are not included. Fast charging is not supported— Topolino charges at a single, fixed speed and is not compatible with tethered wall box chargers.

Fiat Topolino is equipped with a 5.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. It has a 6 kW all-electric motor, equivalent to 8.2 horsepower.

Topolino performs well on most hills, but its top speed may decrease on steeper inclines. Please note that Topolino may roll backwards on any slope when the brake pedal or parking brake is released. We recommend exercising caution while driving.

Topolino is certified as a light quadricycle in the L6E category which means that the maximum top speed is 27.9mph. If the top speed was altered, it would no longer fall into this category, therefore, there are no plans to alter this.

Because Topolino is so compact, the driver and passenger sit in similar positions relative to the road. That’s why we’ve kept its original left-hand drive layout.

Topolino is not equipped with a suitable towing eye for two-wheeled towing and must always be transported using a flatbed vehicle. Improper towing may cause damage to the traction battery. Neither can Topolino be fitted with a towbar, or even a roofbox.

No, Topolino is not equipped with ISOFIX anchor points. For your child’s safety, we strongly advise against installing a child seat in Topolino.

Fiat Topolino is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for a period of 2 years. The traction battery benefits from a warranty of 3 years or 25,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
