Fiat 500e triumphs in the Auto Express Used Car Awards 2025
FIAT has celebrated a double success at the prestigious Auto Express Used Car Awards 2025, with the 500e winning the City Car category and receiving a commendation in the Electric Car category.
The Auto Express Used Car Awards combine expert product knowledge from the publication's test team with real-world owner insight from the industry-leading Driver Power survey to identify models that offer the best value for money and all-round experience for used car buyers.
The 500e's victory recognises its blend of iconic Italian design, efficient electric performance, and urban practicality. With affordable examples now carrying barely 10,000 miles, the award highlights the model's appeal as an accessible entry point into electric vehicle ownership.

Launched in 2020, the 500e quickly established itself as Europe's leading electric city car. Conceived and crafted in Turin, the 500e embodies Italian design and innovation, and with multiple awards to its name, including What Car? ‘Best Small Electric Car for the City 2024’ and EcoCar ‘Best Electric City Car 2024’, it is the most celebrated FIAT model in history.

The Fiat 500e features excellent electric capability with an output of up to 87 kW (118hp) and acceleration from 0-62 mph in 9.0 seconds. A choice of lithium-ion battery capacity, 24 or 42 kWh, gives the 500e a range of up to 199 miles in the WLTP combined cycle, making it ideal for daily city use.
