The New 500 is equipped with a complete range of connected services, both on board and outside, including a new smartphone app. With the FIAT app you will be able to manage the New 500 from anywhere and whenever you want. Discover all the features.
My Assistant will make you feel safe wherever you go. The New 500 features an SOS button located in the ceiling light panel, and by pressing the button, you will be put through to an emergency call centre or national emergency services (24 hours a day). An automatic SOS call will be generated under certain crash conditions. (Uconnect Services will be temporarily disabled for up to 60 minutes, if an emergency call is made, to assist the emergency services)
You can also contact roadside assistance via the infotainment touchscreen or the FIAT app. Thanks to Uconnect Services, in the event of an emergency call or roadside assistance, your vehicle details including location, will be automatically provided to the operator.
With My Remote you can locate the position of your New 500 directly from your smartphone. And that's not all. From the app you can lock and unlock the doors, program the climate control to heat or cool the car, and create vehicle charging schedules. Use the Amazon Alexa voice assistant to perform remote operations, access car information and use other compatible Uconnect Services.
My Remote also includes Drive Alerts and Eco-Score.
This feature keeps you informed of vehicle conditions in real time, such as the battery level of your New 500, tyre pressures and odometer. By logging into the FIAT app or the My Uconnect website, you can view vehicle information. Get complete control of your car in real time for maximum driving safety.
My Car also includes Vehicle Health Report and In-Vehicle Notifications.
Reaching your destination has never been easier. With My Navigation you can send the location or address you want to travel to, from the FIAT app to your vehicle with a simple touch on your smartphone. The infotainment display of your New 500 will show you traffic, weather updates and speed camera notifications in real time, as well as the closest charging stations and destinations reachable based on the remaining battery charge. Your maps will always be updated with "over-the-air" updates.
My Navigation also includes POI Search, Parking Finder and Last Mile Navigation.
With My Wi-Fi you will always feel at home. The New 500 will become a Wi-Fi hotspot to connect up to 8 devices: you and your passengers will have a trial period to be able to surf the web, listen to streaming music and audiobooks, work online in total comfort and use the Amazon Alexa Service* on board.
Your Wi-Fi hotspot service includes 1GB of FREE data (valid for 3 months)!
You will be required to complete the registration process, using the car’s Wi-Fi hotspot, the first time you use the service.

Always keep a watchful eye on your New 500 with the optional My Alert service. In the unfortunate event there is a suspected theft attempt, such as unauthorised towing, you will immediately receive a push notification on your FIAT app. In the event of theft, you can call the operations centre to request assistance and, once the theft has been reported to the authorities, the security functions will be activated, including vehicle tracking.
With My eCharge, you have a suite of services dedicated to the electric charge of your New 500. With the FIAT app, you can easily find public charging stations nearby, and access features for charging, payments and track charging history.
At home you will be able to quickly access your private Wallbox and, thanks to remote management, get the most out of your connected Wallbox.
Most Uconnect™ Services packages are already included in the price of the car, for a period of 3 years. My Assistant is already active, whilst for the My Car, My Remote and My Navigation packages you only need to complete the registration process to use them.
Some Uconnect™ Services packages are available for a fee, with variable subscription periods, as in the case of My Wi-Fi, My eCharge and My Alert. Free trial periods on selected packages are available to help you discover them. Ask your retailer for more information.
The personal data you have provided (“Data”) will be processed by FCA Italy S.p.A. (“Company, We, Us”) to provide you with the service you have requested. We will also perform surveys on customer satisfaction related to the quality of our goods and services, provided that it is in our legitimate interests to do so. If you consent to us doing so, we will send you relevant marketing information and carry out market research about our products and services so that you don’t miss out on current offers. If you tell us that you want to receive communication that is specific to you, then we will analyse your personal preferences, interests or behaviours so that we can send you customised communication that we think you might like. What happens if I do not consent?
Submitting the Data is never mandatory however, if you do not provide essential information, we will not be able to provide you with the service requested. Only the fields with an asterisk are essential for us to be able to provide you with the service which you have requested. If you don’t fill in the optional fields, we will still be able to provide you with the service. If you do not consent to us marketing to you, we will not be able to tell you about our latest offers or deals which we think you might like.
Who processes the data?
The Data may be processed by natural persons and/or legal entities (“processors”), acting on our behalf under our specific instruction or contractual obligations. We may send the Data to third parties to comply with legal obligations, or for security purposes.

Where will my data be processed?
Processors are usually based in EU Member States but we may transfer the Data in countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), for example, to store them in databases managed by entities acting on our behalf. These processors of the Data are bound by the instructions we give them to process the Data and must do so in accordance with applicable data protection laws. In the event the Data is transferred outside of the EEA, we will use appropriate measures to guarantee adequate protection of the Data, usually in the form of standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission for the transfer of personal data outside of the EEA.
How long will my data be kept?
In providing you with the service you requested, we may store your Data for as long as is necessary to protect our interests relating to potential liability related to that service. We will only keep the Data for as long as is deemed strictly necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. You may withdraw your consent to marketing and other activities unrelated to the performance of the specific service requested at any time, following which the Data will no longer be used for that purpose. Although we will not contact you for that purpose any longer, we may still store it to protect our interests.
