The Panda 4x4's “Torque on demand” drive system uses two differentials and an electronically controlled coupling which sends torque to both axles uniformly and proportionately.
So there's nothing the Panda 4x4 can't handle, thanks to its approach angle of 21° and Electronic Locking Differential (ELD).
Add the City Brake Control anti-collision system to your Panda 4x4: working at speeds of up to 19 mph, it detects the risk of collision with an obstacle or other vehicle and comes to the rescue with an automated emergency stop.
With McPherson suspension up front and interconnected wheels at the rear, the Panda 4x4 offers fabulous manoeuvrability. And with specific M+S All season tyres, there'll be no stopping you - whatever the weather.
The Panda 4x4's ESC system includes ABS to stop the wheels locking while braking, so you'll never lose your grip or leave the straight and narrow.
In low-grip conditions, the ASR system prevents the front wheels from slipping during acceleration and deceleration, while the ELD system sends torque to the wheels that have most traction.
