Charging solutions

The 500e is safe and easy to charge, either at home or on the move. It offers fast charging and is supplied with a Mode 3 cable as standard, which easily plugs into a home wallbox or public charging station.

Regenerative Braking

Whenever you take your foot off the accelerator pedal the car slows down, recovering kinetic energy and converting it to generate electricity and recharge the battery.

Up to 199 mile range

With a range of up to 199 miles (WLTP combined), Fiat 500e has your city commute covered, as well as a couple of stops along the way.

Fast Charging

Fiat 500e has the capacity to fast charge at up to 85kW, adding up to 30 miles of range in just 5 minutes.
It can reach up to 80% of full battery charge in 35 minutes.
*You can obtain 15-80% of the vehicle charge in 30 minutes from a 100kw rapid charging station. The vehicle will rapid charge at a rate of up to 85KW, depending on the power of a rapid charging station used and will take longer to charge at a lower power station.

Tech safety features

Keeps you awake

500e helps you stay alert behind the wheel. The system can detect the initial signs of fatigue by monitoring lateral movements of the vehicle, advising the driver to take a coffee break with a visual and acoustic warning on the instrument panel.

Brakes for you

500e can brake automatically to avoid or mitigate collision with a vehicle in front, a pedestrian or a cyclist, at up to 80 mph (where legally permitted). Initially the car alerts the driver with an acoustic and visual warning in the instrument cluster. If the driver does not respond, the car brakes helping to avoid or mitigate potential impact.

Keeps you on track

500e helps you to stay on track with Active Lane Assist. If the car drifts out of its lane without the driver indicating, the system will automatically detect the movement and warn the driver, automatically steering the car back in lane if necessary.

Cruise Control

Stay in control of the speed you want to travel at: just set your speed and 500e will maintain it during your journey.

Keyless Entry

Keep your keys in your pocket. With the proximity sensor, your 500e will recognise you as you are approaching or moving away, opening or locking it safely.

Dusk & Rain Sensors

Enjoy worry-free driving in any type of weather. The dusk sensor will detect light levels and automatically turn on the headlights when it starts to get dark.​ If it rains, the sensors will automatically activate your windscreen wipers.

Fiat 500e is also compatible with Android Auto™ and can connect wirelessly with compatible phones. Once your smartphone is connected, the user-friendly interface displays your apps on the Uconnect™ 10'' display. You can manage music and contacts, and thanks to Google Maps you can explore maps, traffic conditions in real time, directly from the touchscreen and without putting your safety at risk.
