Start&Stop:

The TwinAir and 1.3 MultiJet versions feature innovative Start&Stop technology, which switches off your engine when you stop in traffic and automatically restarts it when it’s time to set off, saving you more fuel and CO2.

It’s a lightweight, turbocharged two-cylinder unit that packs the power of a 1.4 engine, but cuts CO2 emissions to dramatically low new levels for guaranteed guilt-free fun.

SAFETY

State-of-the-art safety:
The new Panda is packed with features to keep you safer on the road. Airbags, easy-use ISOFIX child seat attachments, active anti-whiplash front headrests and ABS anti-lock braking come as standard on all models.

Advanced seatbelts:
Pretensioned front seatbelts keep you safer by removing any slack in the first milliseconds of a crash. And load limiters prevent any risk of being injured by the belt, by releasing a little bit of it when the restraining force gets too large.

All-round protection:
Driver, front passenger and curtain airbags come as standard on all models. You can also opt for additional front side airbags to give you and your passengers even more protection.

STYLE

Shapely new look:
Ever heard of a ‘squircle’? It’s a square with rounded edges and it’s the inspiration for the new Panda’s elegant design. But those softer contours don’t just look good. They also improve its aerodynamic efficiency and help you make the most of its spacious interior, with fewer obstructions and inaccessible areas.

Stylish touches:
It’s the little details that give the new Panda a stylish edge – like the word ‘Panda’ embossed into the dashboard and door panels and subtly moulded into the rear lights. There’s also a wealth of colours and interiors to choose from, so you can make your Panda your very own.

Illuminating stuff:
The curvaceous bonnet features an elegant horizontal grille and new rounded ‘jewel’ headlights, placed higher to improve illumination and reduce the risk of breakage if you accidently knock something.

TECHNOLOGY

Start&Stop:
Innovative Start&Stop technology helps you cut fuel consumption and emissions even further. It automatically switches off the engine when the car is stationary, restarting it as soon as you press down on the clutch. So you don’t use any more fuel than you need to.

At your command:
Voice-controlled Blue&Me™-TomTom 2 LIVE keeps you safely connected as you drive. Play your tunes, answer phone calls and even have your text messages read out loud, all via the steering wheel controls or voice command, so you don’t have to take your hands off the wheel.

Smart stuff:
The new Panda is packed with technology usually found in cars twice its size. Parking sensors, climate control, fuel-saving Start&Stop and Blue&Me™-TomTom handsfree entertainment and satellite navigation are just some of the optional luxuries available that make driving easier and more enjoyable than ever.

TRIM

Multifunctional dashboard:
The new dashboard is both practical and stylish, comprising a colourful frame that houses the steering wheel, CD player and main controls, and also includes a large storage pocket for the things you carry around with you every day.

Seeing squircles:
The ‘squircular’ shape of the new Panda also inspired the design of the stylish interior. The steering wheel is slightly squared off, making it easier to grip and turn and giving you a better view of the instrument clusters, similarly shaped for a harmonious look and feel.

Choose your colours:
Style your new Panda your way. With a wide range of fabrics for the seats and door panels, plus a choice of colours for the dashboard shell, you can have it looking just the way you like it.

ERGONOMICS

Comfortable driving:
The steering wheel is perfectly round on the outside to make it easy to turn, but square on the inside to improve grip and give you the best possible view of the instrument panel.

Distinctive handbrake:
The compact handbrake is specially designed to leave space in front and behind the lever, so you can keep your phone or your coffee close at hand. When it’s released, it doubles up as a comfy armrest.

Designed around you:
No scrabbling around to change gear – the gear stick is virtually at your fingertips, placed high and close to your driving seat for ease of use. In fact, all the controls on the dashboard have been thoughtfully designed to ensure comfortable, distraction-free driving.

Feel the warmth:
Enjoy scraping ice off your windscreen on a frosty morning? Thought not. Choose the optional heated windscreen and it quickly de-ices or demists at the touch of a button. Even if you go for the standard windscreen, we’ve cut the defrosting time in half. You’ll feel toastier inside too: the heater works much faster, rising to a comfortable room temperature in no time.

Dashboard pouch:
Some things are so useful, they deserve a revival. We’ve brought back the roomy dashboard pouch that featured on the very first Panda, as it’s perfect for storing the things you need to keep close to hand – like a wallet or umbrella.

COMFORT

Versatile seating:
The new Panda offers the kind of flexible seating you’d usually see in an MPV. Opt for the 60/40 split rear seating and you can make room for large items like golf clubs without having to fold the whole seat down. Or choose the optional folding passenger seat to create a table, extra loading space, or even chaise-longue style seating for a rear passenger to stretch out in.

Riding high:
No need to crane your neck to see. The raised driving seat gives you a perfect view from the front right round to the third rear window, positioned to give you additional visibility from an angle that’s often difficult to check.

ENTERTAINMENT

Blue&Me™-TomTom 2 LIVE:
Play music, make phone calls and get driving information at your fingertips with optional Blue&Me™-TomTom 2 LIVE handsfree entertainment and satellite navigation. Handy steering wheel controls or voice commands interact with the dashboard display, so you don’t have to take your hands off the wheel

Pump up the volume:
A radio and MP3-compatible CD player come as standard on all models. And if you like your music pumping, both the Easy and Lounge versions come with six speakers.

Better sound:
Music should play to your ears, not your ankles. So we’ve raised the speaker in the door panel. Not only has that improved sound quality, it’s also freed up space to make the door pocket wider and more practical to use.

BOOT SPACE

Stay clutter-free:
The new Panda makes it easy to keep everything where you want it. There are no fewer than 14 storage compartments dotted around the car, from the large dashboard pouch to the spacious back shelf. Go for the comfort pack for even more handy extras – like a space above the driver’s seat for your sunglasses.

Hidden depths:
It may be compact, but the new Panda is surprisingly spacious inside. The roomy boot hides 225 litres of space, which can be expanded to 260 litres by sliding the rear seats forward. So there’s plenty of room for your luggage, shopping and the family dog.
