We’re very excited about our new MultiAir petrol engines, which deliver more power than similar-sized engines while consuming even less fuel. Choose the 1.4 105bhp, and you get an impressive 49.6mpg on the combined cycle. Good news for diesel fans too, who get a super-frugal 67.3mpg with the 1.3 95bhp, thanks to improved MultiJet technology. The result? Start&Stop:
No more wasting fuel while idling in traffic – clever Start&Stop technology comes as standard on all Punto Evo models. It switches off the engine when you stop in traffic and put the car in neutral, and starts it up again smoothly as soon as you hit the clutch. The result? Less noise and even lower fuel bills. Now that’s smart.

Change the way you drive:
A few small changes to your driving can have a big impact on your fuel efficiency. Luckily the Punto Evo has a raft of innovations to help you, like Gear Shift Indicator, which advises you when to change gear. There’s also eco:Drive, a clever piece of software that analyses the way you drive, giving you tips on saving fuel and reducing emissions.

Feel the power:
Revolutionary new 1.4 MultiAir petrol engines give you 10% more power than other engines of the same size, while improving fuel consumption by the same amount. Clever, eh? It’s all thanks to advanced electrohydraulic engine control, and you’ll notice the difference on the road too: both 105bhp and 135bhp versions feel smoother, more responsive and more pleasurable to drive.

Quietly does it:
Go for diesel and you’ll reap the benefits of our new improved MultiJet engines. Whether you choose the 1.3 75bhp or 95bhp, each offers you improved efficiency, lower emissions, and a smoother, quieter drive.

Look, no clutch:
Choose the Dualogic option for easier driving, whether you’re zipping round the city or out on the open road. It lets you change gears without a clutch pedal, and switch between Manual and Automatic modes with ease.

SAFETY

Airbags for all:
Rest assured, as the Punto Evo comes with driver and passenger front airbags, and a driver knee airbag as standard. Go for the Dynamic trim upwards and you get no less than seven airbags, giving everyone in your car all-round protection.

Stay in control:
We’ve packed the Punto Evo with the latest safety technology to keep you in control, whatever the conditions. Electronic brakeforce distribution with ABS helps prevent skidding if you stop suddenly, while ESP keeps you stable if your tyres lose their grip. Even hill starts are a breeze with Hill Holder technology.

Better visibility:
Clever cornering fog lights on the GP and Sporting versions switch on automatically when you’re about to turn, giving you better visibility on taking corners, and providing plenty of warning to other drivers for added safety at night. You can also choose them as an option on all other models.
