Developed jointly by Fiat Auto and Microsoft, Blue&Me is the infotainment system based on the Windows Mobile for Automotive platform, offering Bluetooth connectivity, USB and a voice-controlled hands-free telephone kit. Make calls using via your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, listen to your favourite music downloaded onto your USB drive or the portable media player.
There is now a free of charge Blue&Me software update available, which will enable better compatibility and improved functionality with an increased number of mobile phones, and also enable compatibility with the latest generation of iPods and iPhones* (with adaptor).
The Blue&Me section of www.fiat.co.uk will be updated soon to reflect these developments.
Update software version 5.4
It is quick and easy to update your Blue&Me because it is designed to be constantly upgraded and therefore compatible with the latest versions of mobile phones and media players.
If you have a latest generation mobile phone, iPod or iPhone, download the Blue&Me software update 5.4 which allows you to increase compatibility with these devices.
First of all, check that your phone is compatible with the new update, consulting the lists available below:

If you are using the Eco:Drive application you will need to re-install it on your car after the software update

From the options below, please select your Blue&Me version (Blue&Me or Blue&Me Map) and proceed with the download
Blue&Me Update
Before proceeding with the download, please remember that:
• If your mobile phone is functioning with the version of Blue&Me currently in use in your car, there is no need to proceed with the software update.
• Once the update has been performed you can no longer return to the previous version.
• If you have the Blue&Me Map navigation system, please see also the Blue&Me Map section below.
• If your Fiat car is one of the latest production it may already have the new Blue&Me software factory installed, the update will in this case lasts only few seconds

Blue&Me Adaptor for iPod and iPhone
The adaptor enables Blue&Me compatibility with the newer generations of iPod and iPhone that don't save the music files in the external disk mode.
It also enables you to play all music tracks stored on all iPods or iPhone via USB port. You will be able to play iTunes files, including those covered by DRM. The iPod will charge when connected.
The device can only be used on cars with Blue&Me updated with software release 5.4.
