Just in case people dont yet know, took car in for a service, and there is now a fix available for the boot water ingress problem, it involves new seals and the addition of some sealant, takes about 2hrs . Just thought id pass it on.

Is this your local dealer or official Fiat fix?

It was the Fiat Service garage. they said its a known issue which previously didn't have a cure. But Fiat has now issued an official fix which includes new seals and sealant.

Indeed a bulletin has been issued, I had to inform the dealer.

It is not good when the customer knows' more than the official FIAT dealer : Another small area for dealer improvement!

 Anyway booked in, so we'll see how it turns out
