Hi Everyone

I am new to the forum so I am sorry if someone else have posted this before.

I have a Fiat grande punto 1.4 active sport auto and just recently I got a beeb whilst driving and it came up 'check transmission see handbook' but sadly I cant find my handbook, can someone tell me what the problem is ?

you have a dual-logic ...don't worry about the handbook as it will  tell you to take it to a FIAT  dealership ,,where they will read the fault code ...unfortunately ,the dealer network isn't that great with the dual -logic fault diagnosis ..sis had one ,now has a  merc A class on order ...but she had 1 of them previously and they couldn't diagnoise auto box faults either..

you may be in luck there is  someone who had a repair donr to a dual logic on here ,,cost about £270 odd ,a part in the box had a hairline crack ....try searching gearbox ..if you can't find it .i 'll find it for you

i can't do links   lol  ...go to new members scroll down and look for dualogic faults  from reg ...it's only 6 or 7 down ,or search reg ...he seems a good lad ,and you can hopefully discuss your symptoms  and it may well be the same fault ,which if your under warranty you can mention it to your dealer ,they need all the help thay can get

i have a 2007 grande punto 1.4 tjet and when under warrenty my 4th gear kept poping out when putting your fot on throttle so fiat told me i need new gear box and they fixd it under warrenty ..no 2 weeks after warenty runs out same thing happens again is there any cure for this just to get the car sold
