I bought a Fiat Panda 2008 from a Dealer. It has services etc basically everything.

I brought it home and there is a letter stating important information. It says on the letter that to register the car to new owner i can contact them or do it online at fiat.co.uk. Thing is i cannot find where online. I entered the vehicle registration in my account but that was it not sure if thats all i got to do.

It says i can alternatively send the card which i have if i am second or subsequent owner.

It says on the letter All New Fiat cars have their wondows marked with a unique identification number and telephone number of the ISR 24 hour helpline. The ISR holds your vehicle details and the contact details on a confidential database etc.

It has a number 008003428 0000

It says if i phone that i can register the vehicle to me or at this site but not sure where on the fiat.co.uk i can register the vehicle to me.When logged in on my Personal details page i entered the reg there not sure if that is what i must do to register.

 Also the dealer said it is still under warranty as it came with Fia 3 years warranty etc. It has been serviced in accordance to Fiat terms etc. On the back of the booklet there is a page that says 3rd year warranty transfer request, it says to pay a £27 fee and not sure if i have to pay this, the dealer said i did not have to pay anything.

 So in simple terms if i phone that number above i should be able to register the car to me now and regarding the 3rd year warranty i am not sure what i must do exactly i find it a little confusing.

ref the warranty  i will suggest  that ,you check out the warranty as the first 2 years are FIAT warranty,and the third is a dealer warranty ,which in general does not cover electrical faults,so it's not up to much ,considering the amount of electrical /electronic items a car now requires....i'd also double check the £27 ,why mention it if you are not to pay it ???give the service dept a call ,ask them ...

for the other 2 if you have a card fill it out and send it ,and call the fone  ISR  number ...that way it is done and then you can register your car on here later if you find out where it's done....i did my online ,though that was 3 1/2 years ago and the sites has changed since then
