After purchasing the adapter from Fiat (after being merrily told by the dealer "You just plug it in!") I was really annoyed that it didn't work.  Looked at lots of forums and suggestions, such as disconnecting battery, using a brand new memory stick etc., none of which worked.  My superstar IT-brilliant husband was not going to be defeated!  He has finally solved it - Blue & Me Version 5.4.9 is corrupt and does not work (which is the one on the Fiat website - both .co.uk and .com). 

 The version required is 5.4.11.  As Blue & Me is generic across many car manufacturers, you don't need to find the file that is specific to Fiat - the version that we found was on a forum related to Alfa Romeo and it's worked perfectly.  The weblink for this file is:-

 We used a 2GB USB stick that was formatted as FAT32. Using the Fiat Blue & Me adapter, I am delighted that I can now play all my songs downloaded onto my iPod via iTunes on a mac!  Hope this info helps somebody out there and you don't have to have all the hassle that we went through.

I have an 07 plate Bravo and an ipod shuffle. I have recently purchased an ipod adaptor. I downloaded the software update as instructed and I too found version 9 didn't work. So i downloaded version 11 and it didn't work either! I then found a version 15 on the net so I tried that and my ipod still will not work with Blue and Me? When I loaded v11 B&M would not recognose MP3's either and I also lost some of my mobile functionality! Now I have loaded V15 and I am back to where I started from, B&M recognises my phone and will play MP3's.

 I have tried putting MP4's on a stick but B+M will not recognise them.

Can you help?????????
