I'm either going mad or I have a serious problem. Since buying my car 7months ago, 4 or 5 times I have gone out to my car to find that the front windows are fully open on both sides. I've been the only one in the car the night before and wouldn't have thought I had the windows open, especially the passenger window. Thankfully it hasn't been raining and nobody dodgy has noticed. I was wondering if anybody had any similiar experiences just before I go to the dealer.
hi there it sounds like a relay problem or a wireing issue,
did u have an alarm system put on the car as some cars have a window close feature on alarms this may also be a reason, id run it to a dealer and get the techs to have a look at it, could be a wire loose or broken thats shorting on something when locking as the loom runs into the door in same thread
thanks for the reply. I haven't had an alarm fitted nor anything else, just a bog standard bravo active. I'm planning to take it to the dealers as soon as I get some time, in the mean time I'll just have to keep checking they're shut when i leave/lock the car.
hi
a temp soloution is pull the fuses or relay .and they should stay closed....that way your car won't get nicked or the interior drenched

Do you by any chance put the key in your pocket or anywhere the buttons on the key could be depressed as my Bravo has comfort close and opening for the windows (dynamic trim) if you hold down the lock or unlock button i'm not sure if it is standard feature across the range but it's just a thought
Allen
did you manage to get this fixed, I have had a Qubo for a couple of weeks, and found the windows open one morning this week
Also does this on my Qubo, I keep the key fob in my hand until I am out of range before putting it in my pocket, as I am not too fond of the Fiat help yourself feature. The windows have also wound down when I did not have the key fob, it was a minute or two after arrivng home I wiped some hand prints of the door frame near the front window, heard a click and both front windows unwound.
Maybe be it could be something to do with the anti-crush sensor?

This hadn't happenned again until this morning so thought i'd check on here again and this is what is happenning. I had tried keeping the buttons pressed in before but mustn't have held them long enough. You have to keep them pressed in for at least 5seconds (open door= open windows/ close door=close window.
Anybody else with this problem should give this a try. I have only the basic active trim so this could happen on the other fiat cars if this is a standard feature.
i will no longer be keeping my keys in a pocket whereby this can happen.
Thanks for all the replies.
