Just wanted to check whether anyone else has discovered that it costs £85 to change a headlamp bulb?, my local fiat dealer (Wm Cowan, Elphinstone, East Lothian) wants £85 + bulb to change a headlamp bulb, surely this cannot be right?

 After vat and including the bulb, over £100 to change a bulb?, the worlds gone mad!

sorry to say  but with the hourly rate ..that's about correct..so they are probably charging you  1 hour to do the job..which maybe a scare tactic as they maybe don't see any value in doing just a bulb

I ended up taking the bumper off myself in order to chnge the bulb, (did both just to be safe) 40mins for little old me and I don't work in the motor trade.

 Looks like the car was designed around the lights!
