Hi All,
Just a couple of quick questions, I've got a 58 plate GP Dynamic diesel 75. I have done 4500 miles since picking the car up in Sept and I've just noticed that there is a little bit of water under the drivers side footwell. I found out by opening that oh so handy sliding panel they put there for the VIN number stamp.
Question is, should there be any water down there?
Are Punto's known for water leaks?
Thanks in advance for any assistance
Hi did you ever get any explanation for this problem as I am just experiencing the same thing in my 06 plate.Found the source today a massive rust patch under the bonnet underneath what appears to be a brake fluid pump?Seems like this has been leaking and corroded the metal?
Kind regardsJames
hi 52 k
nope there should be no water in the driving compartment what so everso you may have a leak...FIAT have a comprehensive list of tools and checks to do ref water ingress ...wether a dealer has the tools and is capable of doing the tests is another issue....with this weather at the moment if it's just in the drivers side ,it may just be you getting in and out of the car with snow on the soles of your feet ,snow that falls in the car when you open the door etc,but if flooded it's a leak that needs investigating
