Grande Punto Series 2 - misbuild?

I've just taken delivery of a new Series 2 Grande Punto - 3 door Dynamic.  Everything seems OK apart from the fact that the "Giugiaro" badges are missing (these are the badges on each side of the car, just forward of the rear wheel arch). These particular badges were on both the two previous (Series 1) Grande Puntos I have owned.

My Fiat dealer isn't sure if this omission is simply a misbuild, or if these badges are not now fitted across the Punto range on the new Series 2 models (they are on Active and Eleganza-trim cars at the local Fiat dealership).

Does anyone know the answer?  Can someone from Fiat let me know please?

Don't see why they would not be on a dynamic when they are on the rest of the range, the badges are only a couple of pounds from your dealer.

To Fiat Marketing - I note you answered another Forum query today.  Would you also like to answer my original question about badging please???

    Hi C3punto,

I can confirm that the "Giugiaro" badges are no longer fitted on the Grande Punto, dont worry this is not a misbuild!

Thanks for the info. It has answered a query about my new Punto. But why are all telephone messages (eg ending call) in Italian when all other messages in the dash are in english

If I understand your problem correctly, your Blue&Me system is announcing (i.e. voice) some items in Italian, yet displaying in English on the dashboard?

Funnily enough, the Blue&Me in my current Punto did exactly the opposite!  Your Fiat dealer should be able to fix this fairly easily with their plug-in diagnostics, although my local dealer (Arnold Clark) had to communicate with Fiat in Italy to get it sorted.  Don't let your dealer fob you off - your problem should be easily fixable (the alternative of course is to learn Italian...).
