Experiences when approaching Fiat UK or Fiat Milan about complaints? Have they replied? Do they care?
I'd be interested to find out if anyone has contacted Fiat Uk H/O or Fiat Milan H/O with their many complaints about their inefficient  aftersales service. I'm know I'm not the only Grande Punto owner to have suffered with Fiats cavalier attitude with their aftersales. On the occasions I have to go to a Fiat garage I always make a beeline for a potential Grande customer and let them know about the 'service' I have received since purchasing my Grande Punto. I love the expression on the salesmans face when his customer leaves the building. Am I bitter about my experiences with this company - you bet!

Is it any wonder you don't get good service from your dealer if you harrass potential customers when you enter the premisis!!! My guess is your the sort of person that thinks yelling at the service receptionist willl get thing done instead of talking to them like a human being!! Dealers remember customers by how civil they are and my experience is that if you are reasnoble and civil to them, they will recipricate by bending over backwards to help.

By the way, Fiat HQ is in Turin.

Your guess about me is completely wrong. I am the most laid back, courtious person you should wish to meet. I am known as being a really nice, generous helpful person where nothing is too much trouble.  The receptionist is a sweet young lady and is completely on my side she always has a smile for me and we often make jokes about the quality of my vehicle. My grievance is with the seller Arnold Clark who have tried to ignore me for nearly 2 years and taken my generous nature for granted. . I think I have been more than patient with this company. Arnold Clark are NOT civil and have never been from day 1. They are at times are just downright rude not just to me but to anyone that DARE complain about faults with their cars. Apparently Arnold Clark are well know for their rudeness in this area. They have constantly repaired my car (very badly at times) and expect me to keep taking it back because it's under warranty. This is why Trading Standards have got involved.

Obviously, you are not satisfied with your local Arnold Clark dealership.  However, Arnold Clark have numerous Fiat (and other) dealerships across the country, and I think it is rather unfair to tar them all with the same brush.  I, for example, have over the years bought eight Fiat cars from two different Arnold Clark garages - both in Scotland - and my experience of their sales and service is quite contrary to yours.  So by all means post your criticism of the service you have received, but the service level customers receive clearly varies depending on the specific Arnold Clark garage.  But anyway, good luck with resolving your complaint.

arnold clark have the near monopoly north of the border, its about time fiat stepped in and done something about it. fiat would sell more cars if they didnt have to buy them there.
