    hi

you don't state type of engine petrol /diesel ..i will guess it's a diesel,as i have an 06 from new grande petrol 49,000 on the clock ,not a problem starting....have you tried the coolant temp sensor ?? generally if the ecu get's fed duff info from a sensor then it will adjust fuelling etc to suit ....i'm also guessing it isn't a fiat franchised garage  fitting needless parts ,as i personally wouldn't pay for mis diagnosis ..after all you could fit all the parts yourself ,but if taking it  to a fiat dealer ,they are meant to be trained and have access to technical assistance if required ,and laptop ...so they shouldn't just be throwing parts at the car in the hope  they cure it ,maybe they should try fault finding ,like we did before all the electronics ..seems too many rely on the laptop ,as in ,if it doesn't tell them the headlamp bulb has blown ,they wouldn't find it...by the way i am in the trade ,and learned my trade changing points and tunning carbs ,so have a mix of old and new school
