Hello, not posted for a while. I've owned my Tjet Grande for about a year now and am wondering if there are any other owners of the same model on here who have noticed wear on the drivers seat. My seats are the axel black type with the suede panels and its the suede which is showing signs of wear, both on the seat cushion and the back rest. My GP has covered just over 12,000 miles and I really think that the drivers seat covering should have lasted a little longer..
take it to the dealer under warranty ,if the dealer umms and awws ,get them to take pictures that they can e-mail to fiat for a decision ...getthem to take various pics of the seats and of the milage to provethe milage to seat condition is true ,

Thanks Phil. I've taken the car in for it's first service today and the seat wear has been noted down, however I don't think they will be all that helpful. Time will tell.. In addition to the service, they say there will be a diagnostics charge of £53. for investigating blue n me which on occasion makes up it's own mind what music it wants to play, cd, radio, or something from the memory stick.. Random play is switched off, not that it ever worked anyhow.
Tis a shame really because on the whole I do like the car, it just has these niggles, the rattle in the drivers door has returned, nine months after they fixed it, and the paint finish is beginning to wear off the chrome shadow wheels and the rear hatch fills up with water when it rains. I'm sure there are a few other things which I've forgotten, but this is starting to get depressing now

Who knows.? They seem to make up prices as they go. I was originally quoted a figure for the service but then after I said it seemed a bit extreme for a 12k service, they quoted me 40 quid less..
I didn't get charged for diagnostics in the end, which is just as well because the issues I was having with blue n me are still there even though they've reset the system and thoroughly checked it. As for the seat wear, it must be my imagination, because there's nothing wrong with the drivers seat.
Next service will be carried out elsewhere I think
