    EcoDrive and Blue&Me- conflict

    Hi,

I've been reading the forum pages and have got the general idea that the Blue&Me can be temperamental! I pick up my 500 in November 2009 and have been using my Blue&Me - and I'm relating this to the use of my iPod Nano - and everything was working fine, until I installed the EcoDrive software (from the Fiat website). Since then, whenever I plug in my iPod prior to starting my journey it will play the first song (and always the SAME song!) for about half a track and then the media player will stop working. Then it seems like the whole Media Player re-boots itself, finds the iPod again and then plays the same track again, but only the first half before switching off again! It'll do this 3-4 times before finally playing through.

I am wondering whether this has anything to do with installing the EcoDrive, but if not it is a HUGE coincidence. Is there any way of totally removing the EcoDrive - either manually or at a dealership?

    Thanks!

    Andrew

    Thanks Phil.

Do you know where I can download it from - I'm guessing it'll be on the Fiat website somewhere, but it is quite a big site!

    Many thanks,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew

You can call Ciao Fiat customer services with this issue who may be able to advise. There is currently a technical problem with the latest Blue&Me update download, however it can usually be found in the help section of Blue&Me under 'updates'.

I will post a note to the forum once the update is back up and running.

    Kind regards
