The rubber on my remote key fob for my Fiat 500 (2 years 2 months old) getting a bit perforated where you press to lock unlock doors. Just a bit of rubber that is held in place by a bit of plastic. Contacted local dealer and told that have to buy a new complete remote that costs £200.

How come you're not covered on your warranty? Surely you should be.
