Hi there I hope someone can help. My driver's side door stopped opening from the inside some time ago (have to wind the window down and open from the outside) and now I'm also having real problems closing the door. It almost seems like the car has been locked before the door has shut and just bounces back instead of closing. I have to open/close with the central locking numerous time until I hit pot luck and the door closes. Had to leave the car door open this morning because it just wouldn't close and got a guy from work to come out and have a look and guess what............it closed first time.

Any ideas......its causing real problems as I'm having to leave the car with the door open for nursery drop off etc. Help!

I'm having the exact same problems too, Just had the car in for it's MOT and it has failed because of this exact problem, to my understanding it's the doors actual mechanisim which needs replacing, is Fiat aware of this if so what are they doing about it?

Due to all this i am having to SORN the car because it has no tax or MOT meaning i can't get to work, what a pain in the ar*e

Drama queen, buy a door lock for £25 and fit it yourself in 15 minutes.
