Re: THE GREAT 500 DELIVERY RACE

Ok querky features.......have just read the manual....and have now found the space under the passenger seat (oooh)....but how the hell do I open the document tray in the glove compartment......or am I trying to open nothing?  I don't want to pull too hard in case I rip the dash off!

Have not really had enough time to sort out my B&M yet - that'll be a job for the weekend.

Now the doc tray is a job 'nd a half !!  Once opened, never to be used again, well for me anyway.

You don't pull but push the tab up.

Two down.... two to go and no hints !   That is not including Blue&Me

Nooo, got an email from my dealer. My 500 was meant to be leaving the docks on a car transporter today but for some reason it's been pushed back to Friday. Another week with no car :( /sigh

Re: THE GREAT 500 DELIVERY RACE

The last week to wait is actually the quickest...believe me! :o)

Thanks for the tip with how to open the 'document holder'.  Was it actually worth it?  I think I finally have B&M working.....the trick is patience and perserverence (sp?) and a lot of shouting at the car!

Oh Zanadoo, I am chuffed to bits for you. Now you are one of those car owners who share the 'mass exclusivity, of the 500. Buttercup and others, thanks for your kind comments about my test. I am just laughing about it now rather than crying so it helps. I still drive Bella though, with hubby in passenger seat of course. Can I just say, anybody who is planning to get a 500, do not leave out Interscope Hi Fi. My can is a proper Boom Box with it.

Any day now Bain, any day!!!

Just been told my 500 is now status 20, Built. Was ordered on 8th June. Should be in the UK by end of July. Probably take delivery mid August. Or do I wait and have it registered on 1st September to get the new 59 plate? Oh, decisions decisions!

SNAP, I ordered my fiat 500 on 8th June, I've checked with my dealer today and I'm only status 16! How come yours is further on?.  What spec have you gone for?

Mine is 1.2 pop in bossa white, Red/ivory ambience, 15" multispoke alloys, side rubbing strip, chrome kit.

My dealer altered an existing order, to my spec. 1.2 Sport Pasodoble red, 16" alloys, side strip and split rear seat. He did say that of all 3 versions, he was finding that the Sport was least popular so they had more of those "in the system", not allocated to customers.

That little snippet of information is useful for all those looking who want a 'bargain' !  More there are 'in the system' surely there will be better deals... only that is if you are prepared to accept the build spec.

ordered my 500c nearly fourteen weeks ago!!! still only status 16 but I am determined to wait, told it is lokking like the end of august, and I shall definitely wait for the 59 plate!! I am so excited, I can hardly wait, I am looking at accessories and I am thinking of ordering the boot tidy so my shopping stays nice and neat in the dinky ickle boot!! we certainly are a patient lot, but some cars are worth it!!

Re: THE GREAT 500 DELIVERY RACE

Hello everyone, I have just ordered my 500 this week and am already growing impatient with the wait. This is worse than waiting for xmas as a child. How do I get hold of a status code, is there somewhere I can track it on line or do will i need to call the dealers?

Also any news on an blue and me update for mac formatted ipods?

Sorry if these questions have already been answered, just getting in to the swing of things.

    Ciao for now!

    Status 55!!!!!

It's currently on the back of a car transporter at Chievely services on the M4. It should arrive at the dealers tomorrow morning, and they reckon they can get all the paperwork sorted, give it the once over and fit my accessories and have it ready Monday afternoon at the latest!

    Omg!!!!!

Re: THE GREAT 500 DELIVERY RACE
Yesterday morning on my way to work, I passed a transporter carrying 5 new 500's on the M4....it made me smile to think of all those happy people only hours away from finally getting their hands on their long awaited cars.....although one was a cha cha azure with the Italian side stripe.....sorry if any of you ordered it but it really looks a funny combination :o)

Re: THE GREAT 500 DELIVERY RACE
I really shouldn't be allowed to post anything on this site...I don't even have the excuse of sangria & 30 degree heat.....I don't mean to knock anyone's car because they are all beautiful.....the cha cha azure with the Italian side stripe wouldn't be MY choice......phew....rescued that one I hope!
