eco:Drive

eco:Drive is an innovative system that gives drivers an accurate insight into how their driving style influences their fuel consumption, and actively helps them to drive more efficiently, saving money and reducing their CO2 emissions.

Users can analyse fuel consumption and emissions for each journey made, and receive advice on how to drive more efficiently through a series of tutorials, reducing their impact on the environment.

Drivers who start eco:Driving can expect to improve their driving efficiency by up to 15 per cent. That means a 15 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions and in fuel costs.

Have you tried eco:Drive? Tell us your thoughts and how you got on below.

I found out i was changing gears too soon, now my driving is so much better and i'm saving money and helping the environment! why did no one bring out something like this sooner, its brilliant!

A good little tool.  The only drawback is that it doesn't cater for those of us living in the mountains - if I took its advice to change up sooner I'd keep stalling!

Even so, it's still helped me work out how to drive more economically.

When is this available for the Bravo as I beleive that the Bravo was the first to have Blue & Me as standard in the UK, Surely us Bravo owners should have been first on the list

Just bought a fiat panda 1.2 dynamic air con. What is 'electric' power steering as opposed to the usual. What is the usual i ask myself!

Fine. A good way to improve your driving technique, and think ahead. Only down-side, some of the speed guidance is unrealistic in modern traffic, particularly on motorways. Also is changing up at the low reccomended RPM good for the engine? Particularly on an incline.

Have endeavoured for weeks to improve my EcoIndex.  Started at 65 .. now at 73.   Seems impossible for achieve.5*.  Am advised that if you drive the 'Eco way' it will cause emission problems.
