2. What is the total price of the new car?

The total price for the 500byDIESEL will depend on your configuration. The deposit to order the car will be £1000 which will be deducted from the price of the car when you come to pay the balance in full.

3. Where can I find information on the car's specifications?

You can view the car's specifications within the 500byDIESEL car configurator section of the website. You'll also find detailed information in the 500byDIESEL PDF file, downloadable from the 'About the car' section.

4. How do I order my Fiat 500byDIESEL?

Ordering a 500byDIESEL is easy. First you need to configure the car you want at www.fiat.co.uk/500bydiesel and then, follow the simple ordering steps online.

5. At what stage do I commit to buy the car?

Before your order request goes through, you'll be asked to confirm that you have read our terms & conditions and that all your purchase details are correct. Click confirm, and your deposit is sent.

6. At what point am I committed?

By placing an on-line order, you will be offering to purchase your chosen vehicle at the price indicated on our website. After you submit an online order, we will give you a reservation reference number and send confirmation details of your order in an e mail.

7. Once I've paid my deposit, what happens next?

We'll keep you informed via email or SMS of every major milestone your new car passes on its journey from factory to dealer. You'll also be able to track your order online by logging in to your 'order account'.

8. When and how do I pay the balance?

Approximately 12 weeks after you've placed your order, your car should be sent to a designated Fiat dealer (don't worry, he shouldn't be too far away). It is now that you'll need to pay the balance in full.

We'll make contact and ask you to log in to your 500byDIESEL account. Here, you'll be taken through the final payment process step by step, paying the full amount for the car by credit card or debit card, minus your deposit. You'll have seven days to make the payment. So, please remember to get in touch with your bank to make sure everything is organized in advance. At the moment of payment, please make sure that you have the register keeper details to hand.

9. What if I change my mind?

You will not be able to change the specifications of your car once you've ordered it. However, if you are a consumer (ie; a natural person acting outside your business) you have the right to cancel your order and obtain a refund of the purchase price in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, provided that you notify us in writing no later that 7 days after you collect the vehicle.

If you cancel your contract in accordance with these regulations, you must:

a) retain possession of the vehicle and take reasonable care of it when it is in your possession; and
b) return the vehicle to a dealer designated by Fiat at your own cost or, if you do not return it, you must make the vehicle available for collection by Fiat at your own premises and pay the costs which we incur in collecting it.

10. Would Fiat accept other forms of payment?

We are unable to accept other forms of payment such as part exchange vehicles or payments via third party finance companies.

11. When will I get my new car?

We expect for your car to be available for pick-up from your designated dealer approximately three and a half months after you submitted your order on the website. As a valued customer, we'll keep you up to date with every key milestone your new baby passes through on its journey to your dealer's forecourt.

12. How do I know when to pick up my car?

Closer to the time, your designated dealer will be in touch with you to organise an appointment when you can collect your new car.

14. Does my car come with a warranty?

Yes, your vehicle will be supplied with a 24 month manufacturer's warranty and a third year dealer warranty covering the defects due to faulty materials or workmanship during manufacture. Please refer to Fiat Aftercare booklet for applicable terms and conditions.

15. Where do I collect the car from?

We will appoint a dealer from whom you can collect your car. That dealer will then help you through the registration process and provide you with all the details you'll need for insurance purposes.
